Bettina Carey is a motivational and educational keynote speaker
and Emcee that creates presentations and training programs that
inspire, motivate and leave a lasting impression. An ardent supporter
of women she is simply known as, the ‘woman behind the
women!’ Her commitment and goal always is to ’watch your
back’ while creating outstanding results that enhance and
strengthen relationships with her clients. Her authenticity, energy and
passion are cornerstones to her success.
A
colleague describes her in the following way: ‘A communicator & force of
nature...she motivates and educates with her up front, no holds bared,
keeping' real persona…a formidable combination of the genius of
Mark Burnett and the compassion of Oprah Winfrey.’
As a well-known Latin business savvy maven and community leader she
is well established and highly respected in the Seattle community. As a lifelong
advocate, spanning decades, she has served countless women through her
hard work and determination to establish pay equity for women and to
resource capital for businesses owners to star and run their small
businesses.
She is best known for instilling empowerment in women from all
walks of life and cultural backgrounds that she mentors, supports and
encourages to succeed. A true role model in her community Bettina, the
diminutive 4’ 91/2” Latina,
is a force to be sure.
With a natural gift for strategic thinking and collaboration and as
a powerful ‘business matchmaker,’ Bettina matches
like-minded companies together to build effective marketing strategies,
alliances and joint ventures.
She has served on numerous boards encouraging those she meets to share
their talents, skills, treasures and abilities with others. Her strongest
contribution is to champion others, including powerful individuals,
companies, organizations and their issues.
Born to Puerto Ricans in 1958, she grew up primarily educated in Germany and Colorado as a military brat (as she
likes to call herself) where her dad was frequently stationed in the
U.S. Army. In 1984 she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in
Nursing from the University
of Washington.
After a slip and fall accident in 1992 took her out of the work force,
as she knew it, Bettina started her own healthcare marketing business.
She has logged nearly 20 years of nursing experience, boasts 17-plus
years of marketing experience, and possesses skills in leadership, communications
and networking.
